More bad weather

Dye hit a fine 153 as the visitors totalled 322-4, Jack Bartlett making 74. Alex Barton was the pick of the Ventnor bowlers, taking 2-35 from her eight overs.
Friend thumped an impressive 159 not out but despite his efforts, the home team closed on 290-9 to lose by 32 runs. Matt Webb took 3-60 for Newport.
