Welsh Male Voice Choir joins forces with Newchurch for charity concert

On Saturday 27th August at St Paul’s Church, Regent Street, Shanklin, at 7pm the members of the Island’s Newchurch Male Voice Choir will join the visiting Welsh Mynyddislwyn Male Voice Choir in a summer concert.

The Choirs will be joined by the Island’s First Act 2011 Performance Group.

The concert will have both choirs singing together and then performing their own repertoires and First Act 2011 giving their performance of songs.

Entry is free and there will be a retiring collection for church and charity funds.

Bob Cooper for the Newchurch Choir said,

“This is the first visiting Welsh Choir for a couple of years and along with celebrating the First Act 2011 work, we hope that the Island can give them an encouraging and enthusiastic audience.”
