Naturezones Wildlife Education Centre is offering a fantastic outdoor experience for children aged 8 to 11 with its Wise Owl Holiday Club.
The programme, scheduled for Thursdays in August, promises a range of engaging activities that will immerse young participants in the wonders of nature.
Explore the Great Outdoors
Participants will embark on a nature safari, where they will have the opportunity to observe wildlife in various habitats, including ponds, woods, and meadows.
The club encourages children to explore and learn about the natural world, with activities like worm charming adding a unique twist to the adventure.
Creative and Educational Activities
In addition to exploring the outdoors, children will have the chance to express their creativity in guided art sessions. These sessions will involve crafting with natural materials, such as willow, allowing participants to create their own masterpieces while learning about the environment.
The programme also includes games centred around wildlife, providing both fun and educational challenges.
