Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed that a women was found with serious injuries at an address in Cowes yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.
They say,
“We were called to an address in Fraser Close, Cowes, Isle of Wight at 5.46pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014.
“A woman, who lives at the address, was found with serious injuries. She was taken to hospital for treatment.”
“Keeping an open mind”
Police go on to confirm that the address is being examined by officers for potential evidence to establish how the woman was injured.
They say,
“We’re keeping an open mind about the cause of the woman’s injuries at this early stage of enquiries.
“There is no information to suggest a wider risk to the community.”
