You can help make a difference by donating food or money to Ventnor Community Foodbank

Ventnor Community Foodbank share a huge thank you to Johnny Keywood of Ace Waste for his very generous donation of £500 to the Ventnor Community Foodbank (VCF) in October.

Thanks have also been given for the anonymous donation of a £1,000 – which has been split 50-50 between Baby Box and the VCF.

McCarthy: VCF is here to support our community
Tony McCarthy from the VCF told News OnTheWight,

“The support we’ve had from local businesses and the community has been incredible.

“October 2022 was one of our busiest months so far. We fed 78 people – 50 adults and 28 children.

“Ventnor Community Foodbank is here to support our community.”

There for you
If you find yourself needing to use the VCF, they do not require a voucher or referral, you can just walk in and you’ll be given a warm welcome.

The VCF is open every Tuesday and Thursday morning from 10am to 12 noon at Ventnor Baptist Church, Pier Street.

Call or text them on 07862 247 694 or send a message via their social media page.
