Electric mountain bikes: Don’t miss your chance to try one out for free

The Island’s specialist electric bike store, Powerbike World in Lake, are offering the chance for Islanders get out of doors this autumn and winter.

Blast around the Island’s bridleways and trails on the latest and most amazing electric mountain bikes, or E-MTBs, as they are becoming commonly known as.

E-MTBs are an amazing way of keeping fit and exhilarating fun at the same time.

A whole new level of cool
This technology has swept across Europe in the last few years and now, in some countries is proving to be more popular than the traditional form of cycling.

Perhaps their ease of use is in part responsible, but the designs of these bikes brings a whole new level of cool to the party.

Free trials
The events are free of charge and will take in some breathtaking Island views and you may even discover corners of the Island you’ve never seen before.

Join them on the first Sunday of each month starting from the 2nd October for some off-road powerbiking.

Spaces are limited – act now
If you are interested please visit Powerbike World, 6C Lake Industrial Way, Opposite Morrison’s supermarket, Lake to book your place.

Numbers are limited to keep the groups small and the days fun, so reservations are on a ‘first come’ basis.

It’s important that you visit the store so they can fit you to a bike and ensure that you have the right bike for the afternoon. Times and start locations will vary according to the season.

Due to legal legislation the minimum age for this sport is 14.
