Ladies of all ages have been getting very excited on the Isle of Wight.
The Island rumour mill has been working overtime as word is spreading that Johnny Depp has been spotted in Ventnor this week.
Apparently, the Hollywood actor has been spotted in several Ventnor hostelries over the last two days, with people swearing that they’ve seen him.
Mind you, photographic evidence to back it up is yet to be forthcoming.
Speculation that he or his partner (Vanessa Paradis) may be performing at Bestival is rife.
Neither are listed on the timetable, but there are some ‘special guest’ slots, so it’s all possible.
If Johnny was planning to immerse himself amongst Bestival-goers, this year’s ‘fantasy’ fancy dress theme would work well for him (that’s if he had his Alice in Wonderland make-up artist travelling along for the ride).
