The Met Office have issued a yellow (be aware) warning for heavy rain from midnight tonight until 6pm on Thursday.
They say, “A period of heavy rain, accompanied by strong southeasterly winds, is expected to move northeastwards across southwestern parts of England during the first part of Wednesday, with a risk of further heavy rain during the evening.
“Given that the ground is already saturated, the public should be aware of the risk of flooding.”
