Every Monday OnTheWight publish a weekly list of roadworks and road closures taking place across the Isle of Wight. The other four days of the week we publish a list of roadworks and road closures starting that day, or the next.
The programme of works are part of a 25 year Highways PFI contract, held by Island Roads to maintain the entire project network (which consists of just over 800 kilometres of publicly maintained adopted roads and footways).
Car park closures
Today’s list of roadworks and road closures revealed that eight car parks across the Isle of Wight will be resurfaced at some point over the next ten weeks.
