High praise from Ofsted for Isle of Wight primary school

The “proficient evaluation” of an Isle of Wight primary school’s strengths and weaknesses is leading to “rapid improvement after a dip in standards in 2014” say Ofsted.

Queensgate Foundation Primary School in East Cowes has this week received the latest inspection report following an unannounced visit in November 2015.

The headteacher, Samantha Sillito, receives high praise from the inspector, who rates the school as ‘Good’.
