Fancy being part of a ‘secret wedding’?

A pair of Isle of Wight lovebirds are in need of some help from our brilliant Isle of Wight community this week.

There is a reason for secrecy with this appeal, so we’ll refer to thee couple simply as Michael and Maria (not their real names).

Adventure of a lifetime
Michael and Maria are about to start the adventure of a lifetime, travelling away from home for the next couple of years.

They recently got engaged and wanted to see the World before they got married and settled down.

Well sort of!

Travelling as Husband and Wife
Michael explained to OnTheWight,

“We’re actually are going to have a secret wedding this Saturday, so we can enjoy the experience of travelling as Husband and Wife.

“We don’t wish to have the big family event just yet, as we’d like to celebrate with everyone when we return, so this one is just going to be our little secret.”

Two witnesses needed
Michael and Marina have realised though that when you don’t have any guests to your wedding, you also don’t have any witnesses.

They need two people who are willing to turn up and act as their witnesses.

Can you help?
The couple are due to be married at Newport Register Office (Seaclose Park) at 10.30am this Saturday (16th July).

If this is something you’d like to do for them, please get in touch As soon as possible and we can connect you.
