Thanks to Emily from Mrs Jones Tea Depot in Castle Street, East Cowes for sharing news (and photos) of this lovely community celebration.
Emily tells us that a group of residents, including businesses, got together on Monday and decorated the Umbrella Tree in East Cowes
The businesses involved were Mrs Jones Tea Depot and Lee Wheldon Isle of Wight Window Cleaning. Volunteers who helped decorated the tree included Kerry Miller, Sarah Dover, Lin Kemp and Myra Martin.
Emily extended a big thank you to Angie Booth (Valu 4 U) Helen, Myra, Sue and Lin for crochet flowers and Sarah for the amazing banner.
