At about 4:20pm this afternoon the Audit Report of the Isle of Wight council investigation into past years of the Ventnor Town Council, its staff, some councillors, the Winter Gardens, its management and the concessionaire was published.
What’s emerging so far is a tale of incompetence and near total disarray with worrying phrases like “unlawful” found within it.
It’s 38 pages long, so it’s going to take us a while to go through it thoroughly.
