Sorry you haven’t had a chance to access VentnorBlog and its Forum over Saturday and much of Sunday.
We, like many prominent sites, got hit again by a bunch of bounders.
Their aim was to redirect you to another Website in an effort to sell you fake anti-virus software.
To save you from this, we made the decision early on Saturday morning to make VentnorBlog and the Forum unavailable online.
Once we’d achieved that (by ~9am Sat), we put it behind us and went out for a relaxing day, catching up with our daughter who’d been on the Mainland for the last week.
Similar story today, but most of it spend pootling around at home, with a bit of Shanklin thrown in – (so on reflection, it’s forced us to have some time off!).
Hamster wheels are go!
Come this evening we felt it was about time to get back on the horse and ready for the week ahead, so, after more software upgrades, we made it publicly accessible again.
The problem has been rectified – although the ne’er-do-wells do seem pretty persistent currently.
