Shanklin Town Council are calling a Public Meeting on Monday 24th January 2011.
They would like to hear the views of residents regarding IW Council proposals for Shanklin Library, Tourist Information Centre, Public Toilets, Beach Lifeguards and other matters, such as changes to the Fire Service.
The Town Council has a precept of £109,000 and wish to hear residents’ views on the proposals, and any suggestions or alternative solutions, including the possibility of an addition to the Parish Precept, so that the Budget setting in February can be informed and fully reflect the views of residents.
The Town Council would welcome residents attendance on 24th January, or please forward any comments or suggestions to the above email address, or in writing to 33 Avenue Road Shanklin PO37 7BG, in advance of our 10th February 2011 Town Council Meeting.
