Ventnor Country Market Moves To New Venue

Thursday morning’s Ventnor Country Market has moved location from today.

Fresh eggsDue to the demand for a wider range of produce, the Country Market has moved across the road to the Baptist Church on Pier Street.

Head down between 9.30am and 12.30pm, today and you’ll be welcomed with a friendly smile and the offer of free tea, coffee … and cake!

Local producers will be selling fresh free-range eggs, homemade jam and chutney, marmalade, lots of savoury quiche, pasties, soups and more.

We hear they have a new baker heading over from Freshwater who’ll be offering sour breads.

If all that wasn’t enough to satisfy, you can also get your hands on plants, crafts (knitted bags, etc) and handmade cards too.

Look out for the banner outside the venue on Pier Street.

We’re told that all cooks have been on food safety courses and have their kitchen checked for hygiene standards.
