Congratulations to Tom George aka The Lion and the Wolf who has just been signed to music agency, Coda Music.
Tom, who grew up in Ventnor, has been touring relentlessly has since quitting his job two and a half years ago. In that time, he’s managed to notch up a whopping 300 performances across Europe.
“Incredibly excited”
He made the announcement to his Facebook followers last Friday,
“I am so incredibly excited to now be represented by the wonderful people over at Coda Music Agency.
“To see my name nestled in with the likes of Bon Iver, Daughter, William Fitzsimmons and some band called Take That is making my ageing heart burst with pride.
“Stay true, and I will see you on the road soon, TG.”
Joining Tom on tour have been other Isle of Wight musicians, Laura Clare Reid and Matt Hitt (Ventnor Darlings), Jame Thorpe (Red Squirrel), Rob Potter (The Shutes), Rob Berry (JuiceBox).

You can see The Lion and the Wolf perform at Quay Arts as part of Acoustic Originals on Monday 25th July.
There are three other artistes performing on the night too, Dom Prag, Laura Clare Reid and Owen Lee.
Entry is free and the bar is open all night.
