To mark to opening of the IKEA store, we’ve negotiated a great prize for VentnorBlog readers with IKEA – £250 to spend there! Given we saw a completely fitted out starter room for £550, that’s going to get you a long way.
Competitions are always fun to be able to offer, but bring the sticky problem of having to come up with a challenge. Here’s what we’ve come up with for this one – the names that IKEA use to label their products has on occasion been the source of merriment to us here at VentnorBlog.

During our tour of the Southampton IKEA shop last week, we learnt the history behind the names. Ingvar Kamprad, the founder of IKEA, found it hard to keep track of all of the products numbers, so it was decided to use Scandinavian words instead.

For a chance of winning the £250 to spend at IKEA, we’d like you to come up with the most amusing IKEA product name you can and its description.
Bonus marks if it’s a real product.
