As you may’ve heard on IW Radio News today, five Isle of Wight councillors are to be become the subject of an investigation by The Standards Board for England.
We jumped though a few hoops to clarify the names in question, but now the Standards Board has confirmed the following …
– Andy Sutton
– Vanessa Churchman
– Patrick Joyce
– Brian Mosdell
– Anne Bishop
All of the above individuals will be questioned regarding their involvement in a decision relating to a planning application by Shanklin town councillor, Anne Bishop.
You might remember that Andy Sutton stepped down from his position as leader of the council last month, because he was unhappy with how the application had been handled “during his watch”.
