If you’re a marketing firm on the look out for new contracts, you’ll bound to be interested in this tender invitation for a three year contract being punted by the Isle of Wight Council.
According to industry magazine, Marketing Week, the Isle of Wight Communications department at County Hall are calling for tenders on the contract, worth around £750,000 over three years, to sell the benefits of the Island to potential tourists.
It’s possible that given your intimate knowledge of what the Island has to offer, being an Island-based company might give you the edge, although objectivism is always a valuable tool in any pitch.
If you’re planning to enter the contest, do let us know – we’re very interested to see how many Island-based marketing firms are given the opportunity to pitch alongside mainland competitors.
