You might have heard that a few election posters around the Isle of Wight have been damaged and other defaced.
By chance we came across one last week, down Sandy Lane, near Newport. It’s a pretty secluded location.
Some naughty-things had been out with what looks like a spray can making additions to an Andrew Turner poster – as you can see from the photo.
We understand that Labour posters have also been damaged.
UPDATE 26.Apr.10: We heard from the Lib Dems today that they’d had posters stolen from a few sites on the Island.
Most candidates have rallied to say that posters shouldn’t be damaged.
