Yesterday the council called out an Isle of Wight resident for taking ‘just a hanger and charger’ to the tip. The resident said it didn’t happen like that. Here’s the council’s response to OnTheWight’s questions
AmeyCespa commenced a 25 year PPP waste contract with the Isle of Wight council on 1st November 2015.
As part of their plans, they have closed the recycling plant and will be designing and building a new state of the art recycling centre, aiming to prevent 90% of rubbish going to landfill.
