Around 130 people joined Spectrum's Natural Wight and the team from Arc on Tuesday 12th August for Under the Pier, a gloriously sunny afternoon ‘sand-pooling’ under the iconic Ryde Pier!
Cuttings from four different types of apples were grafted together to create the seven trees that have been planted on the site of a former Victorian orchard.
Head to the library on Wednesday to help make enormous sea-creature bunting to decorate the pier with and then return on 29th August for the sandpooling event.
There'll be live music and you can learn more about the 35 million years of biodiversity on the landslip, from prehistoric lake and estuary snails to today’s mining bees and orchids.
