Proof that ending period poverty can help improve attendance at school has been realised at a school in Portsmouth where it has increased by almost a third since the Red Box Project was introduced.
Aspire Ryde is a community hub, providing services throughout the week in a redundant church building which now buzzes with activity.
They offer free food and help to those in need, as well as running courses, events and workshops for the community to take part in.
Any profits made from projects are put straight back into services to support the local community and into maintaining the amazing building.
See their Website for more details and below are some of the articles which mention Aspire Ryde.
