The long-awaited school-level 2014 GCSE results (provisional) can be found in the draft paper for the school places consultation which was approved by the Isle of Wight executive last week.
The early results reported by the Island’s six secondary schools show that 48% of pupils achieved five A*-C GCSE passes, including English and mathematics, up from 45% in 2014.
There's been a massive GCSE improvement at Carisbrooke College with the number of pupils obtaining 5 GCSEs at A*-C including English and Maths, surging from below 30% to 54%. Well done to all!
