The Guildhall, in Newport, Isle of Wight was a once grand building.
Designed by revered architect John Nash in 1819 – responsible for much of the layout of Regency London – the building has fallen into disrepair, with its upper floors being abandoned by Isle of Wight council around 2010.
It emerged in May 2012 that the council was considering selling The Guildhall.
