Karl Love says the Isle of Wight council will have to 'bear the brunt' for the continued delays to the return of Floating Bridge 6, which will have been out of service for over a quarter of the year
Just days after Cllr Ian Ward said “Residents will be able to use the floating bridge during the Christmas period so they can enjoy shopping, celebrating and travelling to family and friends,” the service has been suspended due to another failure of the £6.5+m bridge.

Things seem to be moving in the right direction, with the Leader of the council saying "there is a bit of light at the end of this very dark and very long tunnel"
