Luisa Hillard was elected as Isle of Wight councillor for East Cowes in May 2013.
Cllr Hillard was a member of the Executive, holding the portfolio for Sustainability until resigning from the post in January 2016 due to family commitments.
A new grant funding opportunity dedicated to supporting sustainable transport projects on the Island has been announced by Visit Isle of Wight and the Isle of Wight Council.

AmeyCespa has been selected as the preferred bidder for the contract to deliver waste collection and treatment services for the Isle of Wight for the next 25 years, starting in November this year.
Cllr Hillard says they are very happy to speak to representatives of local councils regarding services in their area, should they need further assistance in developing their plans.
