Norris Castle sits within historic grounds in East Cowes and is the Isle of Wight’s first Grade I Listed Landscape.
The grounds include a Grade I listed building, which is also on the English Heritage At Risk register.
The main building has been empty for several years and fallen into disrepair.
Developer Norris Castle Estate Group submitted plans for an £106m development of dwellings in February 2022.
