Anyone who saw and enjoyed Ventnor Youth’s productions of Les Miserables and We Will Rock You should be sure not to miss their next production “All you Need is Love” which will be performed at Shanklin Theatre from 4th to 7th February.
This show is set in the 60s/70s and set amidst the turmoil of the Vietnam War at a time when people fought for peace, love and democracy and tells the story of a Liverpool dock worker named Jude who travels to American to find his estranged father and follow his dream to be an artist.
While there he falls in love with Lucy an American girl and forms a strong bond with her brother Max, who is drafted to fight in Vietnam.
The story is bound together by Beatles songs, amazing choreography and a band containing some of the Island’s best musicians.
Not to be missed.
