Readers may remember our report back in May that Police were investigating allegations of fraud following complaints by several members of the public.
The complaints had been made against Harry Darby Media, previously of Shanklin.
Police today confirm a 75-year-old man from Salisbury, Wiltshire was arrested on on 6 July 2011 on suspicion of fraud.
He was questioned and released on bail to return to Newport Police Station on 3 October 2011 pending further enquiries by detectives from Isle of Wight CID.
Many of those who had made complaints against Harry Darby Media have been in touch with VB over the last week, stating that they’d been visited by Newport CID.
