Cowes Online, the excellent Website for the yachting capital of the Island, have launched another photographic competition.
The latest is a search for very best photographs which represent sailing and boating on the Solent in 2009.
If you’ve managed to capture some fabulous shots this year, why not enter the competition and you could be taking home one of the great prizes below.
All you need to do if email three of your favourite shots, include your name, address, a telephone number, and a brief caption for each picture.
You have until the end of the month to do it, so you’d better get hunting through your archives from this year if you plan to enter.
As well as possibly winning one ofthe prizes below, your image will also make it into the 2010 edition of the Cowes Port Handbook. Other best entries will make it into a slideshow in the ‘Photography’ section on Cowes Online.
Prizes
1st prize: A copy of Patrick Roach’s Photography at Sea. The perfect tool to help you capture amazing pictures afloat. Plus, two tickets for entry to the London International Boat Show taking place at ExCel from 8-17 January 2010.
2nd prize: A copy of Patrick Roach’s Photography at Sea. Plus, a signed copy of marine photographer Ingrid Abery’s stunning poster of a Pro-Vee powerboat flip at Cowes.
