Last Thursday OnTheWight published an article that asked ‘Is Andrew Turner thinking of jumping to UKIP?‘ and included a question that had been posed to him in the middle of last week:-
Can Andrew give an absolute assurance to IW voters that he will remain within the Conservative party and not switch to UKIP?
Sill, at the time of publishing this evening (Monday), there’s been no denial from Mr Turner.
Back at work today
Why not is unclear – He’s certainly back at work today, as his Twitter account announced this morning with a flurry of Tweets.
His account has even replied to people (@OneGnT) that haven’t even said anything in their Tweet to him.
He didn’t reply to those who wrote to him directly on Twitter about potential UKIP plans, including the Labour PPC Stewart Blackmore, from Thursday
i see that @TheIslandsMP has been challenged by @onthewight to deny he's jumping ship to the kippers. Wonder if he'll deny it?

Anti-EU Tweet: Fuel to the fire
The Andrew Turner Twitter account also took the time to send out a Tweet that adds extra fuel to the ‘Is he, isn’t he jumping?’ question.
@DavidJo52951945 Trouble is we are signed up to the EU and it's silly, unfair rules. I want us not to be in it at all – like many colleagues
