Planet Aware beach clean at Shepherds chine

Another successful Isle of Wight beach clean by Planet Aware volunteers

The Planet Aware beach clean on Sunday at Shepherd’s Chine was sunny, but rather chilly.

However we bagged around 12kg of beach litter.

We went up past Sandy Lanes development and bagged two more bags worth of plastic sheeting and rubbish had blown over the cliff top.

Windy beach clean
Wednesday’s beach clean at Watershoot Bay – despite the wind – saw 32kg of beach litter collected. The best finds included a surfing Minion, a broom head, and a plastic bag jelly fish.
