Police are releasing a photograph to help trace the victim of a suspected theft on the Isle of Wight.
Officers are continuing enquiries after property believed to be stolen was recovered in Sandown.
At approximately 3am on the morning of Thursday, November 11, 2010, police received a report of two teenagers being disturbed in the garden of a house on Avenue Road in Sandown.
A 15-year-old boy from the Isle of Wight was arrested nearby on suspicion of theft, and bailed until December 14, 2010 pending further enquiries.
Bag with games found
Further searches of the area by police located a black and white shoulder bag containing a handheld computer and three games.
Investigating officer PC Simon Crew of the Isle of Wight’s Targeted Patrol Teams (TPT) said: “Initial enquiries in the community have not established an owner or a report for the property we believe to be stolen. We are releasing a photograph of the item recovered in the hope that its rightful owner will recognise it and contact police. I’m also keen to hear from anyone with information about the possible theft of handheld computers and games in Sandown during the past month.”
