Appeal To Trace Tools Reported Stolen From Chale

Circular SawReports of tools stolen on the Isle of Wight are prompting a police appeal for information.

A number of power tools were taken from a barn on farmland in the Atherfield Road area of Chale on the Isle of Wight during June 2011.

The missing tools are described as:

> A Bosch circular saw
> Two boxes of Paslode nails
> Two Makita drills and impact drivers
> A Makita lithium ion screwdriver and box of 3,000 screws
> An electric jigsaw
> A Makita drill driver
> A spirit level
> A Stanley hammer
> Two sets of Dewalt drills and accessories

Investigating officer PC Dave Hardie of the Isle of Wight’s Targeted Patrol Teams (TPT) said: “I’m appealing to anyone who may have been offered these type of tools to buy second-hand over the past month or who has information about someone trying to sell these items in suspicious circumstances.”
