Don’t forget that tomorrow (Wednesday 4th May), between 2pm and 7pm, BBC South and BBC Radio Solent will making their way down Ventnor to broadcast live from the town (what’s it all about?).
From 1.45pm the wonderfully brilliant Ventnor Comic Jazz Band will be rounding up people in town and leading them to green on Dudley Road where they’ll enjoy an afternoon of entertainment and activities.
Live music, entertainment and community stalls
The live music will continue throughout the afternoon and there’ll be things for the kids to do, as well as stalls (over 45, we hear) from many of the town’s local community organisations.
Look forward to live music by:

‘Patchwork Picnic’
The Ventnor Fringe will be taking part with a ‘Patchwork Picnic’ running throughout the afternoon.
They’re inviting everyone to join them by taking a blanket along, which they’ll then peg together to make one giant picnic rug, complete with games, buskers and activities.
Pop along
Understandably, many people will be at work during the day, but if you can pop along for a bit before you head home, you’ll be able to capture some essence of the day’s celebrations.
Let’s hope it’s as gloriously sunny as it is today.
