Following the launch of the Association of Island Independents last year, they tell OnTheWight they have now finalised their constitution and membership procedures.
As a consequence, the Association of Island Independents will be holding an Open Meeting, on 7th February 2014, between 6pm-8pm at the Isle of Wight Law Centre, Exchange House, St Cross Lane, Newport.
The meeting will be hosted by Honorary President, Keith Fagan and Chairman, Peter Whiteman with Cllr Ian Stephens, Leader of the Isle of Wight Council as guest speaker.
The Association say they hope the meeting will be an informal opportunity to introduce the Executive Committee and an opportunity to meet currently elected, Independent Members of the Council for those interested.
Membership applications and registration of interest as a supported Parliamentary Candidate will be available at the meeting or via email at ‘[email protected]’
