This season Ventnor Film Society will be screening a diverse programme of recent award-winning films from the Japan, Iceland, Bulgaria, Jordan, UAE, Denmark and Turkey and Colombia.
They were unable obtain the previously advertised film, Black Souls, so see the BAFTA nominated 'The Lady In The Van' at Ventnor Film Society's final screening of the season instead.
Although the bad weather on the launch of Stokey's Solar Walk meant the entire walk couldn't be completed, series of plaques marking out planets mean others can enjoy the walk in the future.
The Ventnor Film Society starts its Autumn season on 1st September and will be screening some fantastically selected foreign films over the coming four months. Mark them in your diary to avoid missing.
There are still some tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday's screenings of award-winning Russian film, Leviathan. Book in advance or turn up and take a chance on the night.
