Do you want to help out the Vectis 4×4 Response group and grab yourself a bargain at the same time?
Not sure who Vectis 4×4 Response are? They’re the unpaid volunteer organisation that more or less saved the north of the Island on Thursday by unblocking the Isle of Wight Festival car park of mud-drentched cars.
Bargain prices
In a way to make some money to keep themselves running, they’ve salvaged twenty tents that were left behind on the Festival site – washed them down, cleaned them up, made sure they’ve got all of the bits needed to put them up and are now offering them for a bargain price.
For just £5/head you can get one of the tents available – so a one-person tent is only £5; a two-person is £10; up to a four-person tent for £20.
They tell us that most of them come with bags too.
