Saturday sees the first anniversary of the Bembridge Community Library.
The local community took control of the library on 1st October 2011 following the Isle of Wight council’s reorganisation of the Isle of Wight Library Service.
The event takes place between 10am and 12pm and all are welcome to pop in to take part in the celebrations.
There’ll be teas, coffees and cakes on offer, along with face painting for the young ones, a raffle, toy stall and book sale.
There’s even going to be live music from a local band.
