Traffic is currently flowing smoothly along key Bestival routes. Residents not attending the event are urged to avoid the area.
Parking restrictions around Appley Park and the Canoe Lake in Ryde have been lifted this afternoon. They were put in place as part of contingency plans in case of problems with Bestival parking/traffic today.
Tomorrow, the restrictions will be put back in place from 8am – the situation will be reviewed throughout the day and if the additional parking isn’t required (like today) they should be lifted early afternoon.
