Boost for AS English Lit students as papers are remarked

Great news just in regarding students at the Island Innovation VI Form.

Readers will remember the controversy earlier in the year in relation to grading of exam papers.

After teachers on the AS English Literature course raised concerns that grades received where much lower than predicted, examination papers for ten students were sent off to be remarked.

The good news is that all those who had passed on the first marking, were re-graded up by at least one grade.

The VI Form tell us that the examination board, AQA has now offered a remark of all 39 Year 12 students’ English Literature papers free of charge.

Three cheers all round.
