The creator of these pictures is Island-based photographer Christian Beasley.

Fortunately for all of us, he was up at the crack of dawn this morning to make his way out to the middle of the Solent for the Brambles Cricket match.

These look completely stunning in miniature. I wish I could enlarge OTW photos without being stuck with a blue cast over them.

No-one else have ever mentioned this problem before. If you email some screen shots of what it looks like we can try to work out what the problem is. Please also include details of what OS and Browser version you are using.

Thanks to Jim Clews who got in touch explaining what he think has happened. If the image is double/triple-clicked a blue filter covers the image. To view the larger version of the images, simply click ‘once’ and wait for it to load. Do not click anywhere else on the page whilst the image is loading. The photos are stunning, mad and surreal – seeing the fielders in classic cricketing stances while up to their knees in salt water, or with a spray of sea arcing up their backs. Ive just looked at enlarged photos took them up two sizes and they look great no blue cast over them on my computer. Be good to have names of those playing this crazy game though :)
