Stay tuned on VentnorBlog tonight from 6pm as we report live from the County Hall Council Chamber for the Cabinet Meeting.
There are a number of key issues (see below) being discussed tonight, many of which will be of interest to the majority of the Island.
Following the public question time, there will be a report from the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People on the schools reorganisation proposals. One sure to fill the public gallery.
Next up will be a Report from the Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport with regard to Concessionary Fares Scheme. Again, another subject raising great interest.
The Cabinet Member for Economy, Planning and Property will then present the Planning Service Peer Review Performance Improvement Plan. Following this, comes reports from the Cabinet Member for Residents and Resources on Quarterly Performance, Strategic Risk and finishing off with the Quarterly Financial Report.
And finally, we suspect the public gallery will be packed with those eagerly awaiting the outcome of discussions following the Joint Report of the Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport and the Cabinet Member for Residents and Resources on options for the Undercliff Drive scheme.
So, if you can’t make it to County Hall for 6pm tonight to hear in person the discussions being raised above, fear not, we’ll be covering the entire meeting live on VentnorBlog.
