23 year old Abby Gentry of Cowes, who recently qualified as a Speech Therapist spoke on Vectis Radio last Friday (17th June) of her quest to earn enough money to fund a trip to Cambodia for three months in September to use her newly attained skills.
As a result of her talk with Ian Mac and Maxine (which can be heard online), Mike Kullander,The Retail Operations Manager at The Needles Park contacted the station to see if they could assist with a two month placement before Abby jets off.
Vectis Radio are delighted to announce that after a meeting between Mike and Abby that a suitable short term vacancy has been found.
Ian Mac said “Abby is an absolute delight and makes you proud to be British, we all wish Abby well in her job and also her trip to Cambodia and will give everyone regular updates and a post trip interview.”
