As part of the first Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival join Monkton Arts for a street party to celebrate their fifth birthday, with arts, crafts and information stalls.
Monkton Arts will also be holding a Biosphere Festival exhibition from the 24th June-5th July to showcase: projects they have done over the last five years to promote the biosphere, info on what it is, three artists who focus their work on biosphere issues and work produced by school aged children in Ryde about their favourite ‘place’, ‘nature’, ‘person’ in Ryde which we should look after for the future.
For this they have engaged with all the schools in Ryde and provided art packs, lesson plan and presentation, and a curriculum map.
Where and when
Monkton Arts 5th Birthday Street Fair and Biosphere Exhibition takes place on Sunday 30th June 2024 between 12-4pm. Monkton Arts can be found at 11 East St, Ryde PO33 1JP.
