If you’re thinking of heading up to Cowes during Cowes Week (Saturday 6th-13th August) be aware that there are changes to the Route 1 bus service.
From 10am on Saturday (6th), the Route 1 will not service the Red Jet Terminal until Sunday 14th.
Buses will start and finish journeys between Cowes and Newport at Carvel Lane.
Cowes Park and Ride
The Route 1 will also be serving the Cowes Week Park & Ride situated at the County Showground on Newport Road during the same period.
Route 1 services heading towards Newport will drop off at a temporary stop adjacent to the Military Museum.
