As an onlooker, it wasn’t clear that Charles, Camilla and the entourage would be saying hello to the pupils and teachers at Ventnor Middle School this morning.
Once the visitors had got out of the helicopter and dignitaries had been met, the children enthusiastically cheered when it was clear that Charles and the others would be coming over to them.
There was a bit of rain, so Charles went for the traditional black brolly, whereas Camilla went for a clear umbrella that she could see through.
