Between the 19 and 26 July an online auction is taking place on Facebook to raise funds for the Chelsea’s wishes campaign. All monies raised will go towards the sensory nursery and equipment which is desperately needed.
Difficult time for Chelsea
Chelsea’s mother provides an update on little Chelsea Turner from Sandown:
Hello everyone, sorry we have been quite lately. Chelsea has been having a rough time, her seizures have been increasing and she is losing weight, now back down to 14lb at nearly 17 months old. She needs her button replacing this week and also another EEG tomorrow.
We have been to Southampton a lot this month and have lots of appointments coming up, including Great Ormand Street in a few week’s time. She has now started to have convulsions and we had the results of her second MRI Scan. A Great Ormond Street Specialist met us in Southampton and told us that the brain damage is very serious and that all of her white matter is damaged.
Chelsea has her standing frame now and loves it but we are tight on space!
Her sensory nursery is more important than ever!
The aim of the auction is to raise as much as possible towards this cause which is being overseen by the Charity “Tree of Hope” to give Chelsea the best start to what will be a very special life.
Need more donations
We have had some great donations in; including attraction tickets, holidays and photo shoots but to raise an amount to make a difference we need lots more.
We are looking for a wide variety of items that appeal to all budgets, they do not need to be worth hundreds, and the smallest of donations will make a huge difference to the final amount raised.

We also need people to come and join the event and bid on the items which will start next Friday evening.
